Terms & Conditions
1. Fee Collection and Payment Terms
Strata Education Ltd will not require a student to pay more than $1,500 in advance for services not yet delivered, in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2025.
For courses with a total fee exceeding $1,500, payments will be structured progressively in alignment with training delivery milestones.
A tax invoice will be issued at the time of enrolment and a receipt provided upon payment.
Payment plans may be approved at the discretion of Strata Education and will align with training delivery schedules.
The student agrees to pay all fees due for training delivered in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.
2. Refunds, Withdrawals and Transfers
Full refund conditions are outlined in the Strata Education Fee Management, Deferral and Refund Policy and in the Student Handbook.
Students who wish to withdraw prior to course commencement should notify Strata Education in writing as soon as practicable. Refund requests will be assessed in accordance with the published Refund Policy.
If a student withdraws after course commencement, fees for training already delivered are non-refundable. Outstanding fees for delivered training remain payable.
Requests for transfer to another course will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability and applicable fee adjustments.
Requests for withdrawal due to exceptional circumstances, including hardship or medical reasons, will be considered in accordance with the Refund Policy.
3. Protection of Prepaid Fees
In the unlikely event that Strata Education is unable to deliver training in full, students will be offered either:
-
A full refund of unused tuition fees; or
-
The opportunity to complete the qualification with an alternative provider at no additional cost, where applicable.
Strata Education maintains financial and administrative controls to ensure compliance with prepaid fee protection requirements.
4. Certification and Compliance
Certification (qualification or statement of attainment) will only be issued once:
-
All competency requirements have been met; and
-
All fees due for delivered training have been finalised.
Students retain the right to access the internal Complaints and Appeals process. If dissatisfied with the outcome of an internal appeal, students may refer the matter to an independent external dispute resolution body or the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
